Numerous medical, dental and pharmaceutical companies have joined with hospitals to donate equipment, supplies and financial support for the Novgorod Central City Hospital. Fourteen forty-foot containers of supplies have been shipped with the cooperation of the U.S. State Department.

A medical program for seventy-five under served children in Velikiy Novgorod has been initiated by the two Alliances and includes medical examinations and treatment by volunteer physicians, assistance from social services and others in the non-profit community. Young people who are graduating from the Novgorod orphanage are being exposed to normal family life and are learning basic life skills.
