Official Novgorod

A most inclusive and interesting morning was spent at the Mayor’s office with the Novgorod Medical Alliance, the Moscow orthopedic conference participants, the oblast health committee, the newest scholarship winner and the artists from the Sarasota program in attendance and representing many of the phases of the Alliance’s work.

Alliance in Novgorod 2006

The September 2006 trip to Velikiy Novgorod was successful in numerous ways. As usual, we were warmly received by our friends.

A two-day international orthopedic conference was held. The Novgorod Alliance was asked to bring two orthopedic physicians to participate with orthopedists from Moscow and Velikiy Novgorod. Dr. John Moor and Dr. Randall Morgan, two orthopedists from Sarasota, Florida, agreed to participate. Dr. Moor presented two lectures on advanced knee procedures and replacements and Dr. Morgan presented two lectures on hip replacement technologies. (more…)
